Should I leave a tip? [back to top]
Gratuities are not included in the cost of services and are greatly appreciated. You can either leave cash, or it can be added into your check or credit card.
How much should I tip? [back to top]
Between 15 and 20 percent for each person who gave you a service is customary, but you may of course leave more or less, depending on the quality of the service.
Is an appointment necessary? [back to top]
Yes, appointments are required and although we certainly will try to meet your requests, there are times that we are full. You are always welcome to try and schedule an appointment at anytime though.
How long does it take to get an appointment? [back to top]
With most procedures a 3-5 day notice is adequate. The most popular times are on Saturdays and after 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
What do I wear? [back to top]
It is up to the individual. For multiple services, a robe and slippers are provided. Dress comfortably. If you are coming in for the airbrush tanning, wear loose clothing and if it is raining you will need to wear something to cover your skin that has been sprayed.
Should I take my make-up off? [back to top]
If you are having a procedure performed on your face, it would be helpful to come in without it on.
Is your facility strictly for women? [back to top]
No. We love to provide men with the same pampering services just like the ladies receive.
Can I bring my children in for my appointment? [back to top]
Unfortunately we do not provide any type of child care. Please be considerate of other clients who have come to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the spa.
What if I do not call to cancel my appointment? [back to top]
It is not something that we like to do, but we have to charge 1/2 the cost of the procedure if an adequate time is not given (see enhance your spa experience). Prepaid services and gift certificates will be forfeited for no shows.
Why will I be charged if I do not call and cancel? [back to top]
We work by appointments only. When someone schedules and does not give adequate cancellation notice or no shows, this prevents someone else from being able to schedule that time. We have employees that work on a commission basis only, and if the procedure is not performed, they can not be paid.
What if I am late for my appointment? [back to top]
Late arrivals will be accommodated to the best of our ability, however, you will be charged for the original scheduled service.
How long is my gift certificate good for? [back to top]
The gift certificate is good for 6 months from the date of purchase. WDS is not responsible for lost or stolen certificates. Certificate must be presented at time of service. Gift certificates are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
Westwood Day Spa will be unable to honor any lost, stolen, or expired gift certificates. We do not keep records of the names of the certificate holders and will be unable to retrieve that information for you. Gift certificate number must be given when scheduling appointments. Failure to give 24 hour notice of cancellation will result in the loss of half the value of the certificate.
What if I schedule appointments for someone else and give my credit card information to reserve the time? [back to top]
The credit card information that is submitted will be charged for any NO SHOW appointments. Be very sure that the individual that you are reserving time for is aware of the date and time. You will be held responsible for any charges.
